Macon Symphony Orchestra to Perform at GMC, Friday, March 30

Georgia Military College and Georgia College and State University will partner for the seventh year to present The Macon Symphony Orchestra, on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in The Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Georgia Military College. The concert will feature Robert Treviño, conductor, named among the Rising Stars of 2009 by Symphony Magazine and Julia Siciliano, guest artist and award winning concert pianist. The evening’s Great Acts will include Dvorak – Carnival Overture, Wagner – Overture to Die Meistersinger, Shostakovich – Piano Concerto No. 2, and Sibelius – Symphony No.2. General admission is $20, and students with ID may attend at no charge. Tickets are available for purchase at the Georgia Military College Office of Advancement and will also be available at the door the night of the performance.
