Georgia Military College Prep School recognizes Julia Whitaker Character of the Week Award in demonstrating the virtue of COMPASSION.

“I would like to nominate Julia Whitaker as character of the week. Prior to formation, when very few were present in my building, I noticed Julia helping a sixth grade cadet with his rank. She was making sure that he would not encounter any problems with our morning inspection process. She was giving his uniform the same care that obviously had been given to hers as she always looks like a model cadet. At a time when an extra few winks of sleep could have been banked, Julia made sure that she was helping someone else. I appreciate that type of work ethic and compassion in our cadets.”
