Judy Parks Receives Professional Development Award

(Milledgeville, GA) May 3, 2005 – Ms. Judy Parks, Instructor of Learning Support Services English and Reading, LSS Reading Coordinator and Director of The Learning Center at Georgia Military College, was recently awarded the GADE 2005 Professional Development Award from the Georgia Association for Developmental Education (GADE). The award was made to assist Ms. Parks in pursuing professional development at Appalachian State University where she is working on her master’s degree in higher education with an emphasis in developmental education and English.

Mr. Tracy Daugherty, Ph.D., GMC Chair of Learning Support Services, said, “Ms Parks is one of the most professional and caring faculty members at GMC and is well deserving of this faculty development award.”
