JUCO Defeats Webber

GMC DEFEATS WEBBER INTERNATIONAL JV 45-0

The Georgia Military College JC Bulldogs began their four-game home stand with a 45-0 thrashing of Webber International JV at Davenport Field. Coming off back to back road games to Texas, the Bulldogs had en entirely new stable of running backs due to injury, but the new faces did not slow down the Bulldogs as they moved ahead quickly to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. A 40 yard fumble recovery by red-shirt freshman LB Tony Murray started the scoring and the offense added 21 points by intermission.

The second half was more of the same as the Bulldogs moved the ball with relative ease, punting only once in each half. The defensive unit was extremely stingy, holding the visitors to less than 100 yards of total offense. Sophomore Darrell Pasco had two interceptions on the night as well to help shut down the Webber offense.

GMC improves to 2-1 on the season and takes on the Valdosta State JV next Thursday night at 7pm in Milledgeville.
