JCFB Military Appreciation Day on Sept. 19 – All Military Personnel admitted FREE!

Military Appreciation Day – All Military Personnel admitted FREE!
September 19, 1:00 p.m.
Georgia Military College vs. College of DuPage

On Saturday, September 19, the GMC junior college football team will host Military Appreciation Day during their game against College of DuPage (Ill.) at 1pm at Davenport Field.   All service men and women will be honored and admitted free to the game with military I.D.  The US Army Silver Wings Parachute Team will deliver the game ball just in time for kick-off at 1:00 p.m.

Honorary captains have been chosen to represent all five service branches and guests from the Veterans Administration, the Veteran’s Home, and MOAA will be recognized and honored for having selflessly served our great country.

Stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia, each member of the Silver Wings is a qualified parachutist. Members of the team are from a variety of units on Ft. Benning with both military and civilian parachuting/freefall experience.
