JC Rifle Team Travels to The Citadel
Georgia Military College Rifle Team traveled to The Citadel, Jan21 for the Southeastern Conference rifle match. There were forty five shooters participating and representation was from six different colleges. Top shooter was Dani Foster of North Carolina State University with two other shooters of the college taking second and third. They were Maddy Pikewith a score of 581 and Bryan Cross 574. Their team resulted in a score of 2304. Taking second was The Citadel with 2260 and North Georgia College State University with a 2242. Georgia Military College was led by Jara Charleton with a 546, BrettLosey 543, Michael Roberson 536and Markeshia Burton 503 with a total of 2128. The team will travel to The Citadel on February 18 to participate in The National Rifle Association Intercollegiate Sectional.
