JC Football Wins Big on Alumni Weekend 63-12

The JC Bulldogs had a slow start Saturday against the visiting Atlanta Sports Academy Spartans, ending the first quarter with only a 14-12 lead, but the Bulldogs responded with a 49-0 run to spring past ASA for a 63-12 victory on Davenport Field. Offensive leaders for the Bulldogs were QB Dylan Shaddix (8 of 13 for 222yds and 3 TD), WR Willie Carmichael (2 rec for 115 yards and 2 TD, 1 rushing TD ), Jarrett Neely (6 rushes for 114yds), and RJ Robinson (4 rushes for 80 yards and a TD). Defensive leaders include freshman linebacker Jamichael Beckford (6 tackles), freshman safety Tiquenton Coleman (5 tackles, 2 tackles for loss), and Antonio Marshall (2 tackles, 2 pass breakups, and a 32 yard INT return for a touchdown). The Bulldogs will have a home game this Thursday night at 6pm against undefeated NC Tech. Should be an exciting game, so come out and watch the JC Bulldogs!
