GMC wins 55-3 v. Louisburg

The GMC Bulldogs played their best 60 minutes of football Saturday on their Alumni Weekend as they ran away with the game 55-3. GMC evened out their scoring between halves with 27 in the first and 28 in the second, giving up Louisburgs only scoring drive to open the second half of the game.

GMC started out with Chris Hart leading the way on an impressive 36 yd scramble for a TD on the opening drive. The Bulldogs scored again on the second drive on the legs of Tobias Palmer. Eight different Bulldogs scored on the day as the Bulldogs had their most prolific game of the season.

The defense also turned in a great effort, holding Louisburg to only a field goal on the day. Dale Peterman and Jakar Hamilton had interceptions each for the Bulldogs and Peterman returned his for a TD. The GMC special teams also turned in a great performance with two blocked punts.

GMC is off next week and returns to action on the road in Buffalo, NY on November 7 against Erie CC.
