GMC JC Football Ready To Host Fans For 2014 Home-Opener

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia Military College junior college football team will have its 2014 home-opener on Saturday, September 6, at 1 p.m. ET as Kilgore College (Texas) comes to historic Davenport Field and the Bulldogs are inviting alumni, family, friends and fans for a day of fun and football.

GMC JC Football has added to the game-day experience in several areas for the 2014 season. 

First, the Parham Hall parking lot directly across the street from the south gates to campus has been established as a “tailgate-friendly zone.”  Fans are encouraged to bring their grills, tents and tailgating necessities and set up in the Parham Hall lot and enjoy some tailgating before the game.

There will also be a “Kids Zone” on the lawn behind the west home stands complete with several inflatable activity areas.  Kids with tickets into the game can gain access to “Kids Zone” for $5 for the day.  The area will be open from noon until the end of the football game.

Come on out and help the Bulldogs get a big win over the Rangers in the home-opener on Saturday. There is no additional charge for parking and tailgating in this area and it will be a great way to start the day before kickoff.  Tickets are $10 at the gate.
