GMC JC Football gets win in Iowa
Your #1 GMC Bulldogs traveled out to Iowa this weekend to take on Ellsworth College and brought home a commanding 46-13 win. Sophomore QB Pat Thomas had his best statistical game of the year, going 16 of 18 for 197 yards and 3 TDs. Both Akeem Judd and Jovon Robinson went over 100 yards rushing and had a touchdown each in the contest and freshman WR Zyrecus Letman hauled in 2 TD receptions. The GMC Defense allowed only one touchdown late in the fourth quarter and played exceptionally well all day. The defensive line led by sophomores DaVonte Lambert and Jamarlo Alford led the way for the Dogs all day. Our next opponent is longtime rival Nassau CC. They will likely move up to #3 or #4 in this week’s rankings and they are undefeated on the year at 6-0. Should be a great game and we hope you all will come out to Davenport and help us on to victory!
