GMC Home Opener Slated as National Game of the Week

September 10, 2004 – The home opener for the #22 ranked GMC JC Bulldogs has been designated by the NJCAA as the National Game of the Week. GMC will be taking on #10 Snow College from Ephraim, UT, in a rematch of last year’s Sea Island Company Golden Isles Bowl.

GMC, while suffering through a disappointing 0-2 start, will look to get on the winning track this Saturday at 1:00PM at Davenport Field in Milledgeville. Snow College will be opening their season against the GMC Bulldogs, and brings a highly touted team into the contest. The game reunites the two teams who provided one of the most exciting bowl games of the year in 2003. Snow edged out GMC in overtime last year, but the Bulldogs will be looking to even the score on Saturday.
