GMC Eastman Campus partners with Middle Georgia State University for college fair

On July 12, Georgia Military College’s Eastman campus collaborated with Middle Georgia State University (MGSU) for a college fair at the Dodge County Library. Prospective students engaged in fun activities, gathered information on the two institutions, and also toured the new Eastman Campus facility. MGSU also provided a helicopter showcase through their aviation department.

“This gives local people the opportunity to see college fairs and sign-up for schools where they don’t have to go out and search for them,” said Erik Walton, GMC’s Eastman Campus Director. “Having the fair at the Dodge County Library makes it easier to see both entities in the same place. You can come to GMC for the first two years of college and then you can transfer to Middle Georgia State University as an option for your four-year degree through the articulation agreement that we have in place with them.”

The first classes will begin at the new Eastman Campus on August 1, 2016.
