Geovic Jadol to Compete at World Level

Georgia Military College Prep School eleventh grader Geovic Jadol will be traveling to the International Science & Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California May 8-13 to present his project (An air-stable lithium ion porphyrin precursor of transition metal complexes) in the world’s largest international pre-college science competition. This is the first time a GMC prep student has been invited to compete at this level. Geovic won this all-expense paid opportunity by placing Best-of-Show during the Georgia College & State University Regional Science & Engineering Fair. The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, provides an annualforum for more than 1,500 high school students from 65 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research. The Intel ISEF is the premier global science competition for students in grades 9–12. (
