Geovic Jadol to Compete at World Level

Georgia Military College Prep School eleventh grader Geovic Jadol will be traveling to the International Science & Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California May 8-13 to present his project (An air-stable lithium ion porphyrin precursor of transition metal complexes) in the world’s largest international pre-college science competition. This is the first time a GMC prep student has been invited to compete at this level. Geovic won this all-expense paid opportunity by placing Best-of-Show during the Georgia College & State University Regional Science & Engineering Fair. The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, provides an annualforum for more than 1,500 high school students from 65 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research.
