Georgia Military College prepares for Alumni Weekend

GEORGIA MILITARY COLLEGE PREPARES FOR ALUMNI  WEEKEND

(Milledgeville, Georgia) October 20, 2014 – Georgia Military College will host its Alumni Weekend October 23 – 25 at the Milledgeville campus.  Some of the weekend’s events include a golf tournament; GMC Prep homecoming football game vs. Lincoln County, bonfire and pep rally; the Alumni Parade featuring the 136th Corps of Cadets with guest speaker Maj. Gen. William P. Acker, JC ’50, former GMC president and distinguished alumnus; the presentation of the 2014 Alumni Awards; a dance with entertainment by “The Soul Purpose Band;” and several opportunities for tours of GMC’s campus.  For additional information, registration, and ticket details please contact Earlene Hamilton, GMC Alumni Development Coordinator at 478-445-0205.
