East Mississippi Community College’s Dontreal Pruitt threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns, and Lakenderic Thomas rushed for 248 yards and three more scores to lead the Lions past GMC 52-32 on Sunday. GMC (11-1), which was No. 1 entering the game, was attempting to win its first national title since 2001. The Bulldogs also finished second in 2002 and ‘05. Jovon Robinson rushed for 238 yards and three scores for GMC to finish this season with 2,387 yards and 34 TDs.
