Dr. Jim Muncy to Speak

Dr. Jim Muncy to Speak at GMC

Georgia Military College will welcome Dr. Jim Muncy to campus next week. Dr. Muncy is a Professor of Marketing, Landale College of Business Leadership at Valdosta State University and the author of A Few Keys to All Success, the required GMC 100 course textbook.

The community is invited to attend Dr. Muncy’s speech on Thursday, January 24, 7:30 p.m., Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts. There will be no charge for admission.

Jim Muncy received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Texas Tech and has spent twenty-five years teaching at the University of Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Clemson University, and Valdosta State University. He has also served for five years as Executive Director of the largest consumer research association in the world. In addition, he has started four successful companies and two non-profit organizations. As an author, his writings have been distributed widely among business professors in North America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. His book A Few Keys to All Success is currently in its third printing. Dr. Muncy has won many awards ranging from Teacher of the Year for his classroom teaching to Adult Black Belt of the Year for his participation in the martial arts. Dr. Muncy and his wife Lisa have four children. Together, they served for six years as Presidents of the Valdosta Area Homeschooling Association. Dr. Muncy is a frequent speaker to many business firms, civic groups, and religious organizations. Audiences love his highly entertaining style. But it is style with substance. He can present deep, profound, life-changing insights in a light and lively way on topics such as:
