Cross Country Team to Compete in Nationals

Members of the GMC junior college cross country team will be traveling to Rhode Island on Friday, November 5th, to participate in the 2004 NJCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Cross Country National Championship. Coach Stacie Goggans says, “The team had an exceptional season, competed all over the southeast, and placed 2nd in the Oglethorpe Invitational. I feel we have a very good chance of placing in the top ten nationally.” The team is pictured, front, l to r, Henry Belle, Nadia Solorio, and Emile Riette; back, l to r, Justin Cajero (GMC’s #1 runner with a personal record of 28:53 for the 5-mile standard course), James Morgan, and Crawford Robertson (GMC’s #2 runner).
