Commissioning and Graduation Ceremonies Announced

Eight GMC Junior College cadets will receive their commissioning into the U.S. Army as second lieutenants on Friday, May 27, 6:00 p.m., in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts.

Members of GMC High School class of 2005 will graduate on Friday, May 27, 8:00 p.m., in the Cordell Events Center.

The 126th class of GMC Junior College will graduate on Saturday, May 28, 10:00 a.m., in the Cordell Events Center. The commencement speaker will be the Honorable Larry O’Neal, Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee of the Georgia House of Representatives. O’Neal was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2001 and in 2003 was selected by Governor Sonny Perdue to serve as the House Floor Leader for the legislative session.

Guests attending any of these events are reminded to please turn off cell phones.
