Columbus Honors New Members of Phi Theta Kappa

The Beta Sigma Sigma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, located at GMC Columbus, proudly congratulates our newest members. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is exclusive, limited only to students with a GPA of at least 3.5. Phi Theta Kappa is involved on campus with community service activities each term, and members can qualify for exclusive scholarships and conventions. GMC Columbus is happy to recognize the newest group of inductees. Melinda Barreras of Columbus Lauren Ellerbee of Columbus Raul Figueroa of Americus Martina Engel of Columbus Kristie Long of Columbus Marquette Pace of Ft. Benning Shelby Robidoux of Columbus Amber Tibbs of Phenix City These students join current members Arrianne Williams, Lisa McCormick, Margaret Abrego, Shannon Waller, Victoria Stephenson, and Wendy Waller. Georgia Military College, the only public liberal arts junior college located in Columbus, is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees. Some of the majors offered are business administration, criminal justice, education, homeland security, pre-nursing, and psychology. Enrollment for the Summer 2012 term is currently underway.
