Character of the Week (MS) – September 17

Nominee – Leanna Harbor – 8th grade

Leanna is a Captain of the Middle School Football Cheerleading squad and was cleaning up the bus after an away game to Decatur this past Saturday. She found a wallet with credit cards and money in it and quickly turned it in to me in hopes that I could track down the owner. It turned out that it was a high school softball player’s wallet and she had been frantically looking for it for over a week. Leanna acted both honorably and responsibly and reflects the desired character of a cadet and GMC.
