Captain Larry Martin and Daughter Share Inspiration during Black History Month
In recognition of Black History Month, CAPT Larry Martin, GMC Middle School Military Instructor, and his daughter, Thyjuana Martin, a ninth grader at Baldwin High School, recently shared words of inspiration with GMC middle and high school students. Thyjuana recited, “Still I Rise” by Maya Angelou, and CAPT Martin gave the students a glimpse into his personal history and experiences.
