Will Robinson Scholarship Fund

Capt. Christopher Spires and Mrs. Suzanne Ratliff, Co-Chairs of the 11th Annual Will Robinson Memorial Run, recently presented the Georgia Military College Foundation with a check in the amount of $1,000 for the Will Robinson Scholarship Fund. Runners from around the state, along with law enforcement officers from surrounding states, participated in this event, which has been held since 1996 to support several local charities and to honor a fallen hero, Deputy Will Robinson, who was killed in the line of duty, December 17, 1995. This event is of special significance to GMC, as Will Robinson was a 1987 graduate of GMC Prep School. It is so special, in fact, that the GMC Alumni Association has decided to partner with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office in planning the 2007 event, which will be held on November 17.
