Student-Faculty Basketball Game to Benefit Disaster Relief

Georgia Military College will hold a student/faculty basketball game Thursday, January 20th, 2:30 p.m., in the Cordell Events Center. Middle school and high school students will battle against their teachers in an effort to raise money for The Sri Lanka Disaster Relief Fund. The event is the idea of GMC 6th grader, Miss Jordi Bohannon, who recently helped Mr. Murali Thirumal address thank you cards to those who had contributed to the fund. Admission will be $1.00. The faculty team will consist of Johnny Williams, Derek Allen, Scott Seagraves, Tim Lehman, Jon Deen, Charles Myers, Chris Barfield, Charlie Harbor, and John Thornton.
