Georgia Military College (GMC) is honored to have welcomed eight cadets and a cadre member from the Republic of Korea Ministry of National Defense (ROK MND) for a two-week cultural immersion program. They arrived in early February and departed this past week. This partnership was established under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by GMC and ROK MND, fostering international collaboration and cultural exchange.
The immersion program provided leadership training, exposure to the ROTC curriculum, cultural experiences, and opportunities for partnership between GMC Cadets and their Korean counterparts. Participants lived on campus in GMC’s barracks and engaged in a variety of activities designed to enhance their leadership skills and broaden their global perspectives.
“Georgia Military College’s commitment to building international relationships and equipping future leaders with diverse experiences and skills is paramount,” said GMC President, Lieutenant General William B. Caldwell, IV. “We are excited to host our friends from the Republic of Korea again in the future and continue to strengthen the bond between the future generations of both of our militaries and countries.”
