Prep Raises Money for Relay for Life

On Friday, April 30, members of the GMC Prep School Relay for Life team held their own ‘Walk for a Cure’ by walking laps throughout the day during their physical education and training classes. The entire team joined together that afternoon to walk final laps together and reveal the total amount raised $2,373.63. MAJ Linda Brown and the Math Department and MAJ Shannon Davis and the English Department coordinated the fundraising efforts which included sales of t-shirts, donations in memory and honor of loved ones, and a raffle with many items donated by the Sibley-Cone Library including a READ poster from the American Library Association featuring Rob Pattison and Kristen Stewart from Twilight.
