On April 25, GMC Prep senior Michael Skinner signed his offer letter to continue his athletic career and post-secondary education at the school of his choice. Skinner has been offered a full scholarship to play football at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia. He says he’s excited to continue playing the Fullback position as a LaGrange College Panther.

“I’m very excited,” said Michael Skinner. “I’ve always wanted to play football on the next level and this means a lot to me. GMC has prepared me for this opportunity because I was taught how to stand out among the crowd and be a leader.”

Skinner was a two-year starter at Fullback and Defensive End as a GMC Bulldog. Offensively, Skinner had over 250 carriers for 1700 yards and 21 touchdowns. Defensively, Skinner had 111 career tackles with 25 tackles for loss.

Skinner will participate in summer team workouts at LaGrange College as he prepares for his playing debut in the fall.
