Marissa Langston – Union Recorder Athlete of the Week
Union Recorder Athlete of the Week Scores 280 at Recent Rifle Match Georgia Military College Prep Team won their fifth match in GHSA Riflery as they competed against Lakeside High School of Augusta, Ga., February 21, 2013. The Bulldogs won by a score of 1113 to 1060. UR Athlete of the Week, Marissa Langston, scored a 99 prone out of 100, 88 standing and 93 kneeling for a total of 280. Cameron Lowe scored a 95 prone, 90 standing, 93 kneeling for a 278. His standing score was the tie breaker against team mate Kris Irvin who scored 96 prone, 89 standing and 93 kneeling for a total of 278. Jenna Bethea scored 93 prone, 89 standing and 95 kneeling for a score of 277. Analese Bridges had a total score of 276, with her 93 prone, 90 standing and 93 kneeling. The team will be hosting Laney High School Tuesday, February 26 on their home range at 4P.M. The match is open to the public.
