Laura Baswell – Honesty

Georgia Military College Prep School recognizes Laura Baswell Character of the Week Award in demonstrating the virtue of Honesty.

“I would like to nominate Laura Baswell for showing honesty. Laura uncovered a mistake on Edline in which I gave her a grade that she did not earn. Rather than being satisfied with the incorrect, higher grade, Laura brought me a print out of the report and asked me to check/change the higher grade to the grade she earned. Many students may have let this go unnoticed rather than calling attention to a detail that could possibly very negatively affect their grade, but Laura’s character was definitely evident when she stood up for what was right. Please take the opportunity to let Laura know that her honesty has not gone unnoticed.”
