On Saturday, September 30, 2017, GMC unveiled its new Military Science Department Building. GMC’s President, LTG William B. Caldwell, IV, officially announced its new name as “Victory Hall.” The Honorable Earl Ehrhart, Chairman for the Higher Education Committee in the Georgia House of Representatives, was the guest speaker and cut the ribbon to the new facility.

This multi-million dollar state-of-the-art facility will provide more opportunities for GMC’s junior college cadets to prepare and train to serve our country. The building is 13, 515 sq. ft. and includes:

• Four modern flexible classrooms for cadet instruction
• A large supply room to store Army equipment used to train cadets
• Office space for all U.S. Army personnel assigned to teach ROTC at GMC
• A large cadet workroom for small group meetings, work space, and a lounge

GMC’s Military Science Department Building is immediately adjacent to the dormitory for GMC cadets known as Baugh Barracks. This convenient location allows Army personnel to work closely with GMC cadets and the GMC cadet cadre.
