GMC Students Awarded Georgia Power Scholarships

(Milledgeville, GA) November 5, 2003, Georgia Military College is pleased to announce that Ms. Yolanda Scott, Mr. Willie J. Patterson, Jr., and Ms. Rita Gunter, students at GMC’s Union City campus, have been awarded Georgia Power Scholarships. The Georgia Power Scholarship is available only for non-traditional students attending one of GMC’s five distant learning centers. Many students enrolled at Georgia Military College have not recently graduated from high school and therefore some traditional scholarships are not available to them. The Georgia Power Scholarship is designed to assist these students in reaching their educational goals.
