For those who cannot make it to campus, GMC will make every effort to work with you individually. Additionally, we are closely monitoring the development and potential impact of Hurricane Milton. At this time, the storm’s path is being tracked carefully, and there is no immediate cause for alarm in our area. GMC Prep School to move to remote learning effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020

Georgia Military College Preparatory School to Move to Remote Learning
Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020

This afternoon President Trump declared a National Emergency over the Coronavirus outbreak. As we have stated before, the safety, health and success of our students is our number one priority. With that in mind, Georgia Military College Preparatory School will move all of its students to remote learning beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, and continue through March 27th. We will reassess at the end of that period when students will return to campus.  The scheduled break the week of March 30-April 3, 2020 will remain as scheduled.

Monday, March 16th  is a regular school day for students. Specific instruction will be provided to students during each class period about the assignments they are to complete during the remote learning period.

During this period, GMC Prep School will use the Plus Portal, email and our website as our primary means of communication.

Our faculty and staff will be onsite from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each weekday from Tuesday, March 17th to Friday, March 27th to answer student and parent emails about assignments. All offices will be open to take phone calls. All emails and phone numbers are available in the Directory found on www.gmcprep.com.
