GMC Prep Hosts Bulldogs Invitational Raider Meet
Around 20 junior ROTC teams are learning about the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
The Georgia military college prep school hosted the bulldog invitational raider meet this afternoon.
Teams from across the state compete in five athletic competitions, including the obstacle course, gauntlet, and cross country rescue.
Derek Hayles, member of the school's junior ROTC team shares a few pointers on the obstacle.
"When you go into an obstacle, you do not want to think about it,” Hayles said. “You want to go straight ahead and go for it and go over it as fast as you can. Putting thought into it…it slows you down. You just want to go into it."
Nine high schools participated in the competition. This was the first time GMC prep school hosted the event.
