GMC Prep celebrates Pi Day

On Monday, March 16, GMC Prep school students participated in the annual “Pi Day Race.”  For seven periods, all GMC prep math teachers and all GMC prep students engaged in a challenging and fun day of academic problem solving and circle challenges as they raced from station to station around the main campus.  Every year on (or near) March 14th, mathematicians all over the world celebrate the significance of the ratio of the circumference of a circle divided by the diameter called Pi (π = 3.14).  View photos of the event here:  https://publicaffairs.smugmug.com/Pi-Day-031515/.
