GMC JC Commencement

The commencement exercises for the members of GMC Junior College Class of 2009 were held on Friday, June 12, 7:30 p.m., on the Grant Parade field.

Mr. Joseph B. Leonard, former Chairman of AirTran Airways, presented the Commencement Address.

During the ceremony, 2LT Bryan DeLiso received the Harold I. Goodrich Award and 2LT Pancho Gonzales received the Award for Excellence in Leadership.

Immediately after the presentation of diplomas, Ms. Shannon New-Diaz, GMC Prep School Class of 1975, Junior College Class of 1976 and President-elect of the Georgia Military College Alumni Association, welcomed the members of the graduating class into the Alumni Association.
