Georgia Military College Alumnus To Participate In A Ride To Remember

September 5, 2002 – Georgia Military College alumnus, Major Paul Scott Drury, USA, JC1988, will participate in “A Ride to Remember”, a bicycle ride from the World Trade Center site in New York City to the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The ride is in honor of our fallen public safety and military brothers and sisters killed in the attack on America on September 11, 2001. The ride, planned for Sept. 8 – 11, 2002, will consist of 200 riders representing law enforcement, military, fire and rescue, and health care professionals. Participants will ride as a unit along the approximately 250-mile course over a four-day period, arriving at the Pentagon on Sept. 11th. MAJ Drury currently lives in Arlington, VA with his wife Karen (Sewell) and daughter Anna Elizabeth. He is assigned to INSCOM (United States Army Intelligence and Security Command), attends the Joint Military Intelligence College at the Defense Intelligence Agency, and plans to receive a master’s degree in Strategic Intelligence next year. He will wear the GMC crest during the ride.
