In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we know many students are facing tough challenges. Georgia Military College is here for you, and we are doing everything we can to ensure no one is left behind. We have plans to provide extensions and support for those affected with the goal of completing the term. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we’ll be flexible and supportive as we move forward. As Quarter 1 ends, we remain committed to your success, so please check here regularly for updates as we monitor recovery efforts. For those who cannot make it to campus, GMC will make every effort to work with you individually. Additionally, we are closely monitoring the development and potential impact of Hurricane Milton. At this time, the storm’s path is being tracked carefully, and there is no immediate cause for alarm in our area. However, we want to ensure that you are prepared and informed in case the situation changes. Your safety is our top priority, and we will communicate any necessary actions promptly on our website, through email, text, and social media as necessary. Learn More

24th Annual Will Robinson Memorial Run

24th Annual Will Robinson Memorial Run – October 19, 2019

Each year, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Military College remember Will Robinson, a GMC Prep School graduate in 1987, and a Baldwin County Sheriff’s Deputy that was tragically killed in the line of duty on December 17, 1995. This year we honor his legacy with the 24th Annual Will Robinson Memorial Run on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

The run will be held at a new location this year, on the historic grounds of GMC, with the start and finish of the race at the North Gates. The Run (or walk if you choose) will begin with a One Mile Fun Run at 8:00 a.m. and 5k at 8:30 a.m.

Each year the proceeds of this event go to the William E. Robinson, IV Memorial Scholarship Fund at GMC, assisting students of Law Enforcement families to benefit from the same GMC experience Robinson did, and the C.H.A.M.P.S. Program in Baldwin County, teaching our 5th-graders to say “NO!” to drugs and safety guidelines for today’s world.

Pre-race registration is $30 and includes a long-sleeve dri-fit t-shirt. Pre-registration ends October 4, 2019, but you can still sign up after. Race Day registration is $35 with a dri-fit t-shirt, or $15 without a shirt. To register for the race, visit https://alumni.gmc.edu/robinsonrun.
