2014-2015 American Legion 25th Annual Junior 3-Position Air Rifle Tournament

The Morris-Little Post 6 American Legion sponsored GMC Prep Rifle Team in the 25th Annual Junior Three-Position Air Rifle Tournament.  Sixth District Commander, John W. Griffin presented the top three shooters of the team with a certificate and marksmanship medal:

o Cadet CPT Analese Bridges was awarded the gold medal for shooting a high score of 575 with 30 center shots.  She ranked 70 out of 423 individual competitors in the precision category. 

o Cadet SGT Grayson See was awarded the silver medal for shooting a score of 558 with 25 center shots.

o Cadet SGT William Peacock was awarded the bronze medal for shooting a score of 549 with 21 center shots.

o Cadet SFC Grey Wesson was awarded a certificate of achievement for shooting a score of 544 with 19 center shots.

o Cadet PFC Jacob Phillips was awarded a certificate of participation for his outstanding performance.

In the precision class, Vashon Junior Rifle Club-Thunderbirds 1 in Vashon Washington won first place with a team aggregate score of 2344.  GMC Prep Rifle Team had a solid performance shooting a team aggregate score of 2226.
