Varsity Competition Cheerleaders Place First
Congratulations to the GMC Varsity Competition Cheerleaders for their first place will during the Greyhound Invitational sponsored by Georgia College on September 22, 2012. GMC competed against twoother “division A” teams: First Presbyterian Day school and Wilkinson County High School. Coach Stephanie Williams said, “Out of 17 girls on our team, we have seven who are new to the varsity level of competition cheerleading;I am so excited about this group of girls and what they are capable of accomplishing!We will be adding harder skills to our routine each week, andwe would love to see you at all of our competitions! We will compete at East Laurens on October 13th, Mary Persons on October 27th, and Mercer University on November 3rd. Please come out and supportus aswework to qualify for the statelevel competition in Columbus!”
