Valdosta Bowling Team

The GMC Valdosta Bowling Team recently competed in the 48th Annual South
Georgia USBC Championship Tournament. The GMC bowling team is comprised of
Michelle Marsh, SaraLynn Paige, Fannie Saunders and Jennifer Harvey. The
tournament marked the conclusion of the Valdosta League play and included
teams from surrounding counties. The GMC Valdosta team placed 6th overall
from a field of 25 teams.

In other events of the tournament, the team members also exceeded their own
expectations. In the singles event, Michelle Marsh placed 14th and Saralynn
Paige placed 20th out of 83 competitors. In the doubles event, Michelle and
Saralynn team up together and placed 3rd overall and 1st from the Valdosta
League from a field of 41 teams. In bracket play, Michelle Marsh placed 1st
overall.
