Speaking Creatively to Southside Elementary Students

Georgia Military College Community Service Coordinator, Mrs. Brenda Brown, recently spoke to students in the Operation Explore (gifted education) Program at Southside Elementary. Although the topic of her speech was creative writing, Mrs. Brown showed the students through several hands-on activities the importance of learning to think creatively before one can write creatively.

Mrs. Brown showed the students how to make butter from whipping cream. The cream was passed to each student for shaking as they witnessed the miraculous transformation.
