Prep Receives Computer

Georgia Military College recently accepted a new computer from the Computers for Kids program sponsored by Frito-Lay in partnership with Wal-Mart. COL John Thornton, GMC Principal, said, “The computer will go into the sixth grade science classroom where it is needed the most. This will afford our middle school science teachers the ability to allow students to do hands-on activities immediately without having to wait to check out a technology cart or reserve space in a computer lab. We certainly appreciate the generosity of Frito-Lay and Wal-Mart and their efforts to give back to our community.”
