Jacob Russell – (CotW) LEADERSHIP

Georgia Military College Prep School recognizes Jacob Russell for earning the
Character of the Week Award in demonstrating the virtue of Leadership.

Despite being a new student here Jacob has displayed great leadership and responsibility in my weight lifting class. Jacob is a Sophomore who is in a Freshman LET class. He is one of our strongest players, is an accomplished weight lifter, and has to work out by himself because no one else in the class can lift anywhere near what he can. Instead of focusing solely on himself, Jacob has been using every spare moment that he has helping, tutoring, and encouraging his young classmates. He takes up time with kids who can barely lift the bar and tries to make sure that they are working safely and properly. His leadership in this area has thoroughly impressed me and is something to be applauded.
