GMC Prep and College will be OPEN Tuesday, April 12
GMC Prep and Junior College will be open on a normal schedule Tuesday.
The City of Milledgeville continues to work diligently to restore potable water. The city continues to pressurize and flush the lines and hopes to begin collecting water samples shortly thereafter. At the moment, it appears that the potable water issue will be resolved by Thursday.
Given there are no sanitation issues our College and the Prep School will be holding classes.
The only limitation we have is providing potable water in the cafeteria and in the water fountains. We ask that all students bring bottled water for both days – both for lunch and for consumption during the school day.
PLEASE NOTE – COMMUTER STUDENTS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN LUNCH ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12. The cafeteria will not be able to support commuters. The canteen will have sandwiches available.
As we receive updates from the city, we will continue to update our faculty, staff, and students/families of GMC.
