GMC Bulldog Brigade does well at Bowden Band Invitational

On Saturday, September 26th, The Georgia Military College Prep School’s Bulldog Brigade competed at the Bowden Band Competition. The drum major (Annaleah Phillips) received a Superior rating and 2nd place-Best in Class A; the percussion section was 1st place-Best in Class A with an Excellent rating; the Flag Corps received 2nd Place-Best in Class with an Excellent rating and the Band got 2nd Place-Best in Class A with an Excellent rating. The band also received the Spirit Award. “It is truly amazing to see the hard work pay off” says Robert Smith, Band Director. “They have been so focused since July, I could not be prouder. What a great way to end a season.” Next the band is focusing on the last three high school football games and the upcoming performance at the GMC Junior College Football Game versus Arkansas during Alumni Weekend on October 24th.
