Georgia Military College’s Partners Network Host Career Session Speaking Engagement with Member, Atrium Health Navicent

Georgia Military College’s Partners Network hosted a career session speaking engagement with Partners Network member Atrium Health Navicent on Wednesday, March 1, at GMC’s Main Campus in Milledgeville.

Students at GMC’s Main Campus attended the session in person and students at GMC’s satellite locations and the Global Online Leadership College (GLOC) were able to watch via livestream. Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin Chief Nursing Officer, Libby Fuqua, engaged with students interested in pursuing a career in the health care industry and shared valuable insight as an expert in the field. Students asked questions and were able to dialogue with Fuqua and network with a potential hiring lead.

“Atrium Health Navicent is committed to building career pipelines, not only to meet today’s health care needs, but to prepare for the needs of tomorrow,” Fuqua said. “We’re thankful for our partnership with Georgia Military College and for these students’ interest in health care careers.”

GMC’s Partners Network is a free, exclusive opportunity for businesses to connect and build relationships with GMC Junior College students and soon-to-be-graduates, as well as lend their knowledge and expertise to our students through speaking engagements, internships, workshops, and more.

“The Partners Network is a unique opportunity for our students to grow professionally and network with various businesses and industries,” said President of Georgia Military College, Lieutenant General William B. Caldwell IV, USA (Ret). “We are excited to have Atrium Health Navicent as a member of the Partners Network and we look forward to connecting our students with them and growing our relationship through the Partners Network. We aim to provide a prosperous and meaningful bond with these businesses and make genuine connections between our students and the members of GMC’s Partners Network.”

Georgia Military College takes pride in exposing our students to opportunities to succeed once they move on from GMC – whether that is continuing their education or beginning a rewarding career. The Partner’s Network is just one more way GMC students have a connection to people and businesses within our community.
