C.A.R.E. Center assist RHA Health Services

The GMC C.A.R.E. Center recently assisted RHA Health Services with interior painting in three of their group homes. These group homes provide alternative family living for people with developmental disabilities by helping them build useful skills and thrive in many areas of life including personal care, daily living, employment, and self-determination. The following students trimmed and painted four interior rooms: Dixie Smarr, Caitlyn Craig, Rachel Bean, Zach Bennett, Olivia Lyles, Marissa Russell, Crystal Ferguson, Cadet Tim Johnson, Cadet David Preston, Cadet Alan Longoria, Plebe Terrell Battle, Plebe Case Woodard, Plebe Roberson, Plebe Keila Octen, and Plebe Michaela Schiesser. The C.A.R.E. Center sends a special thank you to GMC Engineering employee Mark Tolbert. Because of Mark’s professional guidance, our students made quick time of learning how to correctly trim and roll out a room. Mark came back on Saturday to ‘spot check’ our work and offer last minute tips for a perfect job!
