2025 Schedule

Enrollment at GMC 

 

Step 1: Complete your application

  • Apply for admissions by clicking the “Apply Now” button in the top right-hand corner.

Step 2: Application Fee

  • When you are prepared to “Submit” your completed application, you can use code STARTHERE to waive the application fee.

Step 3: Submit Transcripts

All transcripts need to be sent officially to cadetinfo@gmc.edu or through a transcript system such as Parchment.

  • All final, official transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required. If you are currently in high school, please send a preliminary high school transcript. Upon graduation, please send your final high school transcript showing your graduation date.
  • Home Schooled Students:
    • If you are a home schooled student, please see this page for specific homeschool admissions requirements: https://www.gmc.edu/admissions-requirements/.

Step 4: Submit your Standardized Test Scores (SAT/ACT Scores)

  • Have your official test scores submitted through College Board and/or ACT. Test scores are only required for ECP, Academy Prep Scholar and State Service Scholarship Applicants.

Step 5: Complete FAFSA Application

  • Log on to https://studentaid.gov/ to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current aid year.
  • Use school financial aid code: 001571

Step 6: Complete your Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG) (Georgia Residents Only)

  • Login to Georgia Futures at www.gafutures.org to complete the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG).

Step 7: New Start Appointment

  • Once the Commandant has approved of your admissions, your Enrollment Coach will reach out regarding your acceptance information and schedule a New Start appointment with your Graduation Coach. Your Graduation Coach will walk you through registering for classes and making your financial aid plan.

Step 8: Health Requirements

  • As a cadet, you are required to provide certain medical documentation to include your medical history, a completed physical examination and immunizations to live on campus. Go to the link below and complete the required medical documents as required for all cadets. GMC Medical Record Requirements
  • Those who have completed U.S. Basic Training and/or Advanced Individual Training (AIT) or have complete MEPS or DODMERB physical though Army ROTC/USCGA may provide copies of the DD Form 214 and enlistment contract with all attachments if available.
  • Bring a copy of all documents with you upon arrival at Baugh Barracks on move in day.∗∗NOTE∗∗ Based on the specific cadet program you are applying for, there may be different medical documentation requirements, so be sure to review the complete document and follow the instructions provided.
