Author Laura Auricchio and New School Dean of Undergraduate Studies [The Marquis, Lafayette   Reconsidered, Knopf 2014] will present a lecture on “Lafayette’s Abolitionist Views”. Ms. Auricchio will also speak about Adrienne de Lafayette and her role as the wife of the Marquis during the American and French Revolutions, her time on death row during the French Revolution, and the time spent in an Austrian prison with her husband.
