Walker and Williams Honored with Scholarships from Touchdown Club of Atlanta

Georgia Military College Prep School seniors Gracyn Walker and Parker Williams were recently honored at the Touchdown Club of Atlanta/National Football Foundation Chapter (TCA/NFF) Scholarship Banquet. The TCA/NFF annually recognizes high school football players and student managers of the highest academic achievement in the State of Georgia through the issuance of scholarships for use in their college education.

Gracyn Walker received the Whitey Zimmerman Scholar Student Manager Scholarship of $1,000 and Parker Williams received the George Morris Scholarship of $1,000.  Both Walker and Williams plan to attend Georgia Southern University in the fall.  Williams has signed a letter of intent to play football for GSU.

This year’s scholarship banquet featured keynote speaker Coach Lee Corso, an American sports broadcaster and football analyst for ESPN, and former long-time college football coach.   Coach Corso is pictured with Parker Williams (left) and Gracyn Walker (right).
