SGA attends Leadership Summit

GMC’s SGA attended the Georgia Association of Student Councils (GASC) Leadership Summit on Monday, October 7th at the Capitol. Students participated in workshops, networked with peers from across the state, and listened to speakers, including Governor Nathan Deal. GMC students Maya Mapp and Ben Scheff currently represent GMC as secretaries for the GASC Executive State Board. They were integral in the execution of the Leadership Summit that proved to be a huge success! GMC’s Middle School Color Guard also participated in the event by posting the Colors for the day’s events. The GASC executive board is pictured with Governor Deal, with Ben Scheff and Maya Mapp and Ben Scheff anchoring either side of the podium.
